Site Manager Vacancy

Salary Scale Band 3 Spine Point 21 – 25 (£21,132 - £23,702)

Full Time 52 weeks per year

37 Hours per week

Hours Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm

Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm)

Holiday entitlement 23 days plus bank holidays

Harlow Fields School and College, is looking for someone who can demonstrate from previous experience good practical caretaking / site management and interpersonal skills to join our team as a School Site Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, energy and enthusiasm who has the skills and experience to work as part of a supportive and hardworking staff team.

 

As a School Site Manager you will be responsible for delivering health & safety, site management and maintenance, security and supervision of the schools caretaker and cleaning team. A full driving licence is essential and the ability to drive a minibus is desirable.

 

This is a busy and varied role and the successful candidate will need to be flexible within their duties and be approachable to all staff, pupils and visitors and set high standards to the wider school community. As the School Site Manager you will be line managed by the School Business Manager.

Caretaker Vacancy

Salary Scale Band 2 Spine Point 14 to 16 (£18,272 - £18,910 pro rata)

Full Time 52 weeks per year

30 Hours per week

Monday to Friday, split over two daily sessions:

Morning Session: 7am to 10am

Afternoon Session: 3:30pm to 6:30pm

Additional overtime for after school events

Holiday entitlement 23 days plus bank holidays

Closing Date 11th May

 

Harlow Fields School & College is looking to appoint a flexible, hardworking caretaker who has a keen eye for detail and is able to demonstrate experience in buildings & grounds maintenance, general DIY skills and, ideally pool maintenance, although training in pool maintenance will be given to the right candidate. You should have a good understanding of health and safety and the procedures necessary in keeping our site, staff, pupils and visitors safe. Again, training will be given to the right candidate.

Our ideal candidate will be pro-active and adaptable in their approach to their duties and have good communication skills. The main areas of responsibility will be general site maintenance and working closely with the site manager to undertake first line repairs. Ensure security of the school buildings and site whilst undertaking the end of day security procedures.

 

A full driving licence is desirable.
