Spring Term

Maths

Roding Class have been weighing in Maths. They have used balance scales and gram weights to weigh a variety of different objects. They also counted in 10s, 5s and 2s when working out the total.

Science

Roding have been studying “Sound and Light”. They made cup-and-string telephones, and tested the vibrations on the string when they were using them.

Autumn Term

Maths

Roding Class have used different types of equipment to measure small and large objects, recording their work in centimetres or metres. They have taken care to count carefully.

Library

Roding go to the school library every week where they can select a book of their choice which can be kept for a week and then exchanged. They are becoming familiar with where the books are shelved so they can find the books they want more easily.
