Sixth Form Garden Café continues to be a success with our staff, but this week we served a meal for Robert Halfon, our local MP, and his guest when they paid a visit to the school. Robert chatted to fellow diners including Graham Hendricks, Karen and Tracy from the office and Mrs Wall as well as students from S3 who are currently running the café.
He asked about the menus, food preparation and the favourite dishes of students and staff. Everyone seemed relaxed and enjoyed the visit and we hope Robert enjoyed his jacket potato.
S3 will continue to run the café until Easter when the students from S1 take over for the Summer term.
The Spring menu includes a choice of soup and crusty bread, pasta Bolognese or jacket potato with a filling and salad. S3 will serve some themed menus including a special Valentine’s Day meal on Friday 13th February.
