Thanks to the help from our gardener, Linda, the sixth formers have been able to have regular gardening lessons and really contribute to the school's grounds. We have a lovely display at the front of the school, where flower pots are beautifully presented on hand made mosaics.
Over the summer holidays, a lot of time and effort was put into creating our new greenhouse. The old swimming pool was filled in, the roof was replaced and donations from Harlow Garden Centre meant that we had tables, pots and plants to start to bring the greenhouse to life.
Harlow Fields School & College have registered for the Grow Your Own Potatoes Project, which will form part of the educational learning of our pupils. Please look at the following link for further ideas which you may find useful.
We are looking for volunteers to help manage our allotment area.
Please contact John Holland, our School Business Manager, on 01279 423 670 if you are interested in managing your section of the allotment.
